Riiiight. I understand that the rockets stop WHILST the IDF is occupying the ground - unless all the sentries fall asleep at their post - but I am uncertain how the IDF *continues* to prevent the rockets firing after they leave again.

Coz, you know, they *won`t* *be* *there* anymore.

And if the rockets do start up again, well, what then? Does the IDF just ping-pong back and forth?

You want the rockets to stop?

Then negotiate a ceasefire with Hamas.

Then they`ll stop.
