The foreskin isn`t part of any ceremony in any way once it`s been removed. No esp sanctity while it`s attached, either. Rather, foreskins are just tossed. Less important than a fingernail clipping. "During passover, we Jews splatter our door jambs with the blood..." "Yuval" says "we Jews"? Nope, nobody does this. It was done exactly once, in Egypt, 3,200 years ago. Mezuzot don`t have any connection. They`re verses from the Bible written on parchment. "...that we don`t translate in ANY agada???" It`s translated into English in nearly every haggada I`ve seen, including the Maxwell House. It`s Psalm 79:6. Do you have a problem with Psalms? Text reads, "Pour out Thy wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You..." Would that apply to any real Christian? "haram" BTW is a Muslim term. |
