| IDF downplays *allegations* West Bank troops abuse. Seems like these are more than "allegations." Soldiers are on record with their abuses. Some are filmed. Others have been tried and found guilty. No one from the IDF interviewed denied the shootings, chockings, burnings or beatings. I guess it`s just journalistic reflex to always include "allegations" next to "abuse" when the IDF is involved, despite admissions from troops or taped evidence. On a personal note, the IDF soldiers I observe in the West Bank seem more bored than scared. |
