| These were great people, who in the time of darkness and horror found the ultimate courage to help those in need. They deserve our utmost respect and admiration. However, these true heroes were only a tiny minority, while a majority of the population was either indifferent or hostile. Attacks against Jews during and after the war are well documented. These facts make Zabinski`s story even more remarkable. They are the real saints and angels here, on Earth. |
