| After Israel will capitulate to the 67 border through an act of self-mutilation, the implosion of the Jewish state could very well occur soonafter. I believe this could happen because: (1) The morale of the army will be destroyed - this is due to the fact that over 40% of the officers cadre in the IDF originate from the national religious sector. For them, the spectacle of destroying settlements in Judea and Samaria will be so cataclysmic that they will no longer want any affinity with the IDF, (2) The Israeli Arabs will be emboldened to declare autonomy from the Jewish State. Anyone who saw Popolitika talk show on Israel`s channel 1 this week understands that this is a real possibility now. Kosovo has set a clear precedent. Thus, Jewish Israel will be reduced to a very "concentrated" area (that`s right, notice that word concentrated). (3) Withdrawal from Lebanon caused a war, withdrawal from Gaza caused a missle war, and any future withdrawals will cause only more war. |
