What Cameroon said was that the proposal by the Labour Government to send two children from each school and college to Auschwitz was a gimmick.
When it is in fact a clearly thought out policy formulated over a number of months and involving every sector of British Society.
For Cameroon to equate organising trips to Auschwitz a place where 1.5 million people were murdered as a gimmick by the government is disgusting. By doing so he says that a trip to Auschwitz should be seen in the same light as Alton Towers, London Zoo or Madame Taussauds.
