I guess Israeli have a very short memory, for history shows that after Israel withdrew from Gaza, Hamas offered a cease fire and unilaterally observed it for months even though Israel refused to stop its attacks upon Gaza, killing entire families at the beach with their bombings and giving the green light for IDF snipers to shoot children for playing soccer etc. Of course at some point enough was enough, and counter attacks resumed and now the people of Sderot are paying the price for Israel`s bad choices.
So don`t come looking or expect to find too much sympathy from the world given you are the ones who insisted on continuing the violence as if to use it as a smoke screen to hide your illegal settlement construction and expansion, for nobody is fooled by your tactics anymore and you are rapidly losing friends with each passing day, so accept peace and abide by your obligations or prepare to feel the full wrath of the world very soon. |
