| that are fired from a gun! it never cease to amaze me when i read about this sort of crap. potentially lethal weapons are used against a demonstrating crowd, or children on the way home from school, by the idf in "self defense" against thrown stones... i survived many such assaults as a kid...without ANY helmut or body armor, by simply ducking and dodging... but what`s REALLY telling here, is that the idf apparently shows up at these demonstrations specifically to make themselves visible, and anticipating an incident of stone throwing which then justifies their use of deadly force. anyone who thinks rubber coated bullets aren`t lethal needs to check again. they`re metal bullets covered by rubber and meant to be shot at peoples legs at a distance of 130 feet or more, and from the waist up they`re potentially lethal, especially to the head, and very capable of causing severe injury. they`re NOT described by their makers as "non-lethal", but as "less-lethal". |
