| If you`re dealing with sensible people then finding yourself very much weaker you sue for peace or try to appease the stronger party. This of course obtains when the pride and humiliation factor doesn`t ring all those bells. In the middle east, if you`re Israel, the theory seems to go, you show your strength and then you crawl along begging for peace. So to whose benefit will peace be? Israel seems to be doing rather well as things stand. |
