The Law of Return complicates matters, since one need only be one quarter Jewish to emigrate. So, what about the other three quarters? This is forming another demographic time bomb, where all these one quarter Jews don`t feel much loyalty to the State. And I can`t say that I blame them. This reminds me of the so-called "status" Indians in Canada, where "Indians" with blond hair and blue eyes are not all that uncommon.
According to Jewish Law ,the mother must be Jewish for one to be considered a Jew. Being Jewish isn`t some abstract ideological concept, but rather a blood lineage which has evolved through thousands of years. |
