Be ready, Isreal, but with a reasoned, level-headed approach. Ahmedinejad is an histrionic megalomanic adventurist, and the Iranian people are becoming increasingly disenchanted with his neglect of domestic considerations while he goes off half-Kauk`d. Unlike Hitler, who plundered and pillaged Jews` and other enemies of the Nazi state`s possessions, and stuffed the German population`s mouths with all many of booty to ensure his tenure, Ahmedinejad has no such option.
The increasingly strident name-calling reflects his increasing vulnerability. Not that he isn`t a dangerous maniac, but I think Israel can easily weather the storm, be it created by Iran`s proxies in Lebanon or otherwise. Stay the course, Israel. Keep up the diplomatic pressure! Kol Ha-Kavod! |
