Obama is a Christian and has made a point of reaching out to Evangelicals. The far right`s influence amongst Evangelicals in America has been in serious decline in the last few years. You error in believing all Evangelicals are pre-millenial dispensationalists. Obama is a member of the "Church of Christ" sect and that faith is as old as American Apple Pie being a faith which grew up in the upper south and mid-west following the American Revolution. http://church-of-christ.org/ An attempt to use the "Muslim" smear against him in South Carolina failed. |
