| Neither are any of the other speeches and statements quoted in this article. "The era of imposing policies on other states by military threats is over. The nations in the region will no longer surrender to any threats" Is a response to the invasion by the US and UK of Iraq. This is nothing to do with Israel. This is about Iran maneouvering its position for talks that are occuring between Iran and the United States. About the longterm future in both Afghanistan, and Iraq, and its impact on Iran. Iran is merely pointing out that the establishment of Israel by the United States of America hsa not been a rip roaring success. Which of course it hasn`t. Israel survives because of billions of dollars given each year by the US taxpayer, and favoured trading status with the EU. Israel running to the UN and accusing Iran of calling it names is reminiscent of the school playground. In fact it is quite funny. |
