What is worrying is that UK police would not uphold UK law on UK soveriegn territory because they feared an armed attacked by citizens of Israel.
The fact the general was not arrested can be overlooked. British police on British soil not upholding the law of the land because they thought Israeli civilians were armed, should be enough to cause a serious diplomatic incident.
And the cessation of all flights from Israel to the UK and vice versa until there are assurances that this is not the case.
If there was a wanted Briton on a British Airways flight at Ben Gurion, I bet the Israelis wouldn`t have observed international niceties. |
