| The same song every decade: Tourism industries invest = tourists come. Industries get greedy, neglect personnel/facilities = tourists don`t come. Industries cry "We need Casino" instead of learning from mistakes, re-investing. We HAD casino boats. We also had: 50-100% increase in bankruptcies, domestic abuse, drug abuse, VD, divorce, abortion, unwanted pregnancies, et al; pimps in the school yards. Except for taxi drivers and escort services, the people who want a casino in Eilat do NOT live here. After all a brothel is a lucrative business, but who wants to live in it? Eilat needs a casino like it needs a hole in the head! Let the Tourism industries grow-up! |
