| The solution is simple. Democracy, seperation of religion from the state, and economic development in the mainly Arab areas. This will address all of Israel`s concerns vis-a-vis the Arab minority. Greater democracy will mean that they will have a greater stake in the success of the state (which ties into economic development). Economic development will also mean lower fertility rates addressing "demographic security" (yuck, disgusting concept). And seperation of religion from state will mean that all citizens regardless of this creed will have to go through the legal system for marriage and so on instead of being governed by seperate religious fiefdoms. |
