| The facts are that Pius could actually HEAR the cries from the Jewish ghetto from his private quarters. He not only allowed the Shaoh to continue unopposed but actually met with Nazis and never confronted them--and furthermore the woman known as Edith Stein, a Jew who became a cathoic scholar, actually pled with Pius in a private audience, fully explaining the events happening in Europe. He refuted her and sent her into hiding. She was captured and died in the camps. |
