| The true problem that they don`t talk about in the article is the cause for a lack of space to house the volunteers. They are basically the same numeric amount of volunteers as years past. However, these days there are half as many kibbutzim willing to accept volunteers. It is now only left to the Golan and the Negev. Many kibbutzim now see volunteers as a pain to deal with, distracting their efforts to privatize. Again, this is not true for some in the Negev and Golan. But all the kibbutzim in Israel are not located in those regions. Just sad to see the predicament. |
