| Unless you intend to claim that human beings instinctively hate Jews, then you cannot argue that Jews do not bear some responsibility for the hatred that seems to follow them where ever they go. It was after all Jews who were instrumental in organizing the Bolshevik revolution in Russia that led to Stalin`s rise to power and the suffering of many in my country, not just Jews. And Dhimmitude applied to all non-Muslims at that time, so Jews were not singled out, and quite frankly I see striking similarities in how Israelis treat Palestinians today. The 1830 pogroms were partly due to Jews being seen as siding with the French and less to do with them being Jewish, another instance where interference by European powers in the Arab world brought only violence. And the Church`s was a religious one where Jews were denounced for not accepting Jesus as the son of G-d, and by some as responsible for his death, but Regardless of previous sins, Israel still remains a grave threat to us all today |
