| The Jewish State is the only guaranty that Auschwitz would not happen again. Anti-Semitism flourished in Europe during the last 2000 years without the existence of a state for the Jews and it will continue to do so with the existence of Israel. However today, should the King (or Queen) of England decide again like he did centuries ago that all Jews must leave the country, they have finally a place to go. The existence of Israel has shown that the ugly grimace of anti-Semitism is hiding under another form of racism, called anti-Zionism. It is amusing to see that more and more the true face of this racism comes to the light. The close season for the Jews in Europe because of the Holocaust comes to an end. As younger generations forget quickly the lessons of the past, the existence of a Jewish state is a stroke of luck. |
