My first question would be: "Why is Canada firing rockets on detroit?" I would read the detroit papers. But obviously, they will be biased. So I will read Canada`s papers, but obviously they will be biased. But at this point, I know both points of view. But thats not enough, because obviously, as a citizen of detroit, I dont understand Canada`s point of view. Therefore, I would start reading a variety of newspapers. I will read books by people from the international community describing the conflict. THEN I will make a decision.
You should read "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" by Illan Pappe, an Israeli. Or "One Country" by Ali abu Nimah. Actually, you should read any history book by the Israeli new historians, like Illan Pappe, Tom Segev, Benny Morris, and Avi Shlaim. If you do, you`ll realize that Hamas is firing rockets for a reason - the occupation - self defense. |
