| I think freedom of the press is a total non-starter for Natallie. Having big-brother determine what Arabs hear and say must be the same as having them treat their women with respect. Obviously, it does no good if the Arab press reports that women in Saudi Arabia cannot rent a car by themselves. It is even more obvious that Arab respect would be damaged if the media reported that a rape victim was sentenced to 200 lashes for being raped because she had been in the presence of men who were not immediate family members.
