Listen, and listen good; the IDF is the occupying power, and an occupying power has obligations that go with the territory. The formost of which is this: Look after the wellbeing of the civilians who are under your authority. Because: They are *not* your serfs, and you are *not* a feudal overlord. Rather: They are your charges, and you are obliged to look after them. Now, if that`s just too hard, or if you can`t be bothered, or if you are too scared to do your duty, then GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE AND END THE OCCUPATION. These soldiers did bugger-all, and so they failed in their duty of care. They are a disgrace, and that makes them so very typical of this disgraceful army of occupation. |
