| Assad tells everyone he wants to end the conflict, with the exception of the only country that counts; Israel. This is just more BS from Syria. He hosts Hezbollah commanders in Damascus, while at the same time making the appropriate palliative noises about truly wanting peace. This is all intended to buy time, until the tri-partite axis of Syria-Iran-Hezbollah can gain a strategic edge. |
