| The victims of the holocaust and the survivors were the people traumatized. Anyone studying the holocaust would learn to empathize or feel the pain. It is good to teach empathy. If I sponsor a child in the third world, I am not the one who is traumatized, it is the third world child who has been traumatized by poverty, natural disasters, genocide, etc. It makes me feel good to sponsor and help a child in the third world. Empathy learned by children in French schools would help make them better people as adults. |
