Its a persons basic right to religious freedom or to choose not to be. Just open your eyes today all the hate and conflicts in the world and in our region are because of religion. Just because someone reads the Torah dosent make them a good person, for example, Yigal Amier, Baruch Goldstein , Ovadia Yosef who took religion and turned it in to a tool for political and financial gain.
