| While I`ve seen better cartoons than the ones in question here, the Danish newspaper has every right to publish the cartoons. The way Muslims all over the world react to that shows an amazing lack of democratic understanding. I could understand if they found the cartoons in bad taste (I probably would too, in their shoes), but attacking Danes and demanding boycotts is way over the top. Over the top seems to be the general muslim reaction to any perceived slight of Islam, see also Lynch mobs after a British teacher calls a teddybear Mohammed in primary school. |
