The fundamental objection is the cartoons insult what Islamic people regard to be the Prophet. What a load of malarky. The cartoons insult hypocritical people, not "the prophet." And even if the prophet were insulted, violence is an over the top overreaction. Let those that are irreverant suffer the consequences in the afterworldl if there are consequences. Since when have any of us been appointed champions of prophets or gods?
Its comforting to see that Europeans are actually willing to take a stand in the face of violent threats. Bout time. |
