| While it is still possible for GW Bush to order an attack on Iran, it appears that his hands are tied enough that he won`t (although I stand to win a lot of bets if he does). That leaves it up to Israel to act stupid on its own. So just how suicidal is Israel? Every sane person in the world KNOWS there will be blowback from an attack on Iran, the discussion is about just how disastrous it will be to the US and Israel. So just how much is Israel willing to lose to punish Iran for thinking about, maybe getting, nuclear weapons? If Israel ends up disappearing is that too high a price? What if only 50% of the population dies and Israel is replaced by a country called Palestine? What if Israel only loses 10% of the population but the US walks away? Does anyone in Israel think that attacking Iran will be pain-free? Are people in Israel really that delusional? It is time for Israelis to realize force, particularly from a small country, DOES NOT work! |
