| is that if israel invades gaza... the ONLY big winner will be hamas. just as it states, hamas has no concerns for the the deaths of palestinians in gaza, nor the wanton destruction of civilian neighborhoods and businesses by israel should it invade again... hamas is RELYING on these things to happen, in order to gain and solidify support; not only among palestinians, which would alienate abbas and his government(along with any peace initiatives), but also among muslim nations and the world at large... which is very likely the reason why olmert has so far hesitated in embarking on invasive tactics. hamas is relying on the response of israel`s rightwing hawks to force a response to its increased qassam firings and other activities. in other words; its got them dancing on strings and anxiously waiting for them to do their thing. |
