| Israel should learn how to stenghten Abbas and weaken Hamas quickly and the best way is starting real peace negotiations with Abbas combined with total settlement stop, to get the Pals in WB supporting Abbas by giving them hope he is the man who can deliver and the only one Israel talks to. Israel could help Abbas then get control and power over Al Aqsa brigades and all those that want to continue terror and help WB economicaly. If negotiations are proceeding, Abbas should ask Hamas to join, recognize Israel and stop firing Kassams/terror. If they refuse and keep firing rockets, Abbas then has no disadvantage or political damage from Israel crushing Hamas in Gaza, because Hamas stand then in the way of Pal state and peace agreement. After Hamas is crushed, PA takes over in Gaza and Israel can make agreement with PA. Israel, give Pals in WB something that they can believe in so they unite behind Abbas. Of course, Israel must be sincere and willing to give up substantial part of WB. |
