| Regardless of the severity of the case itself, Judge Nava Ben Or`s ruling seems to do away with the concept of a statute of limitations. If she claims that the legal reasons which prevented the court from bringing the criminal to justice at the time makes the statute of limitations clock stop running, then it follows that the statute of limitations has no real status to begin with. It would seem that a judge should be able to come up with a more convincing theory. |
