| Ive noticed a tendancy for Israelis to fall in love with Hawkish Warriors who are often in the IDF who become supposed "harbringers of peace" Rabin is an example (May he be avenged) and Sharon it seems is on the route as well. Reading much of Sharon i doubt he really had an about face about peace or war but made a pragmatic decision that defied his normal ideology (the best kind of decision in my opinion) and disengaged from gaza. This led to fracturing the Palestinian Nationalist Movement and an example of how Israel is willing to sacrfice for peace. Also i dont like the Settler Movement, they care more for their "biblical right" then the Israeli Soldiers` "right to live". God bless those IDF soldiers who defend them, they certainy have more ahavath Yisrael then me. |
