The fact that it`s in a BS-propagating entity like Syria makes it even worse: if he really believes, contrary to Palestinians in Palestine, that the Egyptians (or Jordanians or any other so-called Arab state) are "brotherly" to us Palestinians, he might as well just give up any dream of returning home and stay with his "brothers" out there for the rest of his life.
