I made Aliyah, in spite of the Jewsih Agency. The representative in Texas, told me , "dont go it will be difficult etc". I had to convince him that I wanted to go no matter what. The whole process thereafter was inefficient. During my Hebrew ulpan, I met many former Soviet Union non Jews who told me that they had simply paid the Jewish Agency a fee to get into Israel.Naturally they received all the immigration benefits as well. Therefore get rid of the Jewish agency and privatize all Aliyah.
