| Girls should be free to wear the head scarf just as they are free to walk around topless on Turkey`s beaches. Haaretz refused to post one of my earlier comments on the "sextival" in TA. According to the secular religion it is OK to whore it up in public, but traditional displays of humility and piety are seriously frowned upon. I say a pretense of decency is better than no decency at all. It is hypocritical, but honestly most decent people prefer it that way, I being one. We have seen what out of control orgiastic demonstrations lead to, just go to TA for the homo parade to see what I mean. |
