| Central and Eastern European cultures are so backwards when it comes to Jews, I am not even shocked about this. Reminds me of the crooked-nosed wooden dolls of Jews I saw on display in Krakow`s central market 15 years ago. I wouldn`t be surprised Sasha Cohen was inspired by this Lithuanian festival when he came up with the "Hunt the Jew day" for Borat`s fictive Kazakstan. |
