Lesson one. Iran·s current electricity requirements are a little less than 27.000 Megawatts. Its total poulation is 70 million. The expected population by 2025 will be 100.million. The current oil production is at 70 % of pre revolution. They are not reinvesting in their oil industry. Granted there a number of old wells.
Lesson two. THe USA has 100 operating nuclear reactors, of which 16 are not operating. Accidents have happened in the USA and Ukraine. Half of Europe was affected.
Lesson three. Iran has massive uranium deposits, which could in effect keep the lights burning for centuries.Great for another dozen or so reactors.
Lesson four. Iran·s current regime is a net exporter of terrorism. How in hell do you expect the West to accept a nuclear Iran creating ME rivalries the could drive up exponentially the risk of a miscalculation, with catatsrophic consequenses.
