| The US has absolutely no right to question any nation`s internal energy policies, none what so ever. As I noted on the other thread on Iran`s second planned plant, there are very valid, practical and fiscally responsible reasons why Iran not only can have as many nuclear plants as it wants but they would be irresponsible to not build them. Given that many nations (but not the US) are building nuclear plants now, so they have energy after peak oil, Iran is not alone in this endeavor. The more plants Iran builds, the more oil they can sell to the US when it disparately needs it in a few years. It will of course cost a lot of Euros, but that is just the price the US will pay for being belligerent and failing to plan for the future. The Saudis should be building nuclear plants for their future too. The oil will not meet demand soon. |
