| Romney is total idiot. His comments about Europe are so over the top, but then again look at the audience he was talking to - a bunch of right-wing loonies. Notice that he never offered a WORKABLE solution to make the US energy self sufficient. That is because that would require building lots of nuclear power plants, severely restricting car usage and many other very painful things. There is not enough oil in the US ground to meet US energy needs for more than a few months so it has to buy it from others (Note I am including ALL the oil that is off-limits right now). He is correct that the US economy is going over a cliff, but his solutions will only help a few thousand people out of the 300 million+ people in the US. The bottom line - the US is well rid of this phony hot air machine. |
