| and despicable. "Honor killings" are not religiously based. Has nothing to do with Islam, has everything to do with using the weakest in society to abuse and dominate. Women have historically been treated like second class citizens and reviled by men in one form or another. Western Law has made necessary changes to protect them from abuse. "Honor killing" is just another way for men to keep women in the niche they carved out for them. |
