| Rowan Williams has a record of unwise utterances. In this case, he wants to undermine the centuries old tradition of English Justice which despite some modern mistakes is accepted by the public. Everyone knows that the Jewish community in Britain is law-abiding and blends in with the community, unlike many of the newer Muslims now resident in UK. Jewish marriage for example, can be solemnized in synagogue but is required to be registered in accordance with English Law to be valid. |
