Education is lagging far behind, women are not even second class citizens, freedom of religion is nonexisting, so when an open minded man like the Emir, appears, he is of course attacked. Arabs wont emerge from the middle ages, iuntil they open their minds to new ideas and face the strck reality that the modern world is leaving them far behind. |
