| Syria may be upgrading their missile capability but whether it is for defensive or offensive reasons is really irrelevant. Wars are started for varying reasons and if Syria feels threatened by Israel they might act. It is up to Israel to deploy and demonstrate that it has superior capabilities and that it will not hesitate to use them against the Syrians. That is called deterence and was the reason Russia and the United States never attacked each other. |
