| Syria, a sovereign state, has just as much a right to defend itself and acquire weapons to deter aggression against it as Israel does, and if it does deter further Israeli aggression in the region such as the recent unprovoked attack upon Syria by Israel, it is great news. Israelis need to understand that they no longer can impose their will upon the region and that their very survival as a nation is going to depend upon peace and regional cooperation, not the continued wars that the Zionist ideology has inflicted upon them. I hope that Israelis wake up, vote out the hawks in their government, end their horrific occupations and learn to live in peace, but from the attitudes presented by Israelis in this forum, I doubt there is much of a chance it will change soon, especially with the intelligent Israeli Jews fleeing as fast as they can get a visa while leaving behind the secular ignoramuses. |
