| Shavit is an example of a center leftist who gets it - this group has been badly mistaken for so long , but, at least, a few of them , finally, realize that, as Israel`s future hangs in the balance, they can no longer play "pretend." For example, they can no longer pretend that the Palestinians are interested in a 2 state solution, that the PA will do anything re terror except aid, abet, and lionize terrorists , that giving up land or terrorist prisoners will hasten peace ,that the IDF need not be strong, and that the EU is Israel`s friend. |
