Mijal Grinberg, Haaretz Correspondent: Israel begins reducing electricity supply to Gaza

Title:Is the reduction going to gradually increase?

The article doesn`t make clear if the electricity reduction is going to be increased. An additional line will be reduced by 5% every week, but what about after 10 weeks, when all 10 lines are at 95%? For this to work, an additional 5% needs to continue to be added every week. For effect, the reduction should be doubled for every Quassam over a certain limit, for example, 4 a day.

My only concern is that the Gazans have too many excuses to not build new power plants or power lines to Egypt. Israel needs to pay for contracting Egyptians to build new power lines from the Egyptian side, and/or a new power plant in Egypt. Ideally, all humanitarian organizations, including those that supply Gaza fuel, should work from the Egyptian side. If they are going to aid the enemy, let it be on Egypt`s conscience.
