| I: "So easy, Hamas stop the Qassams and Israel gets out of West Bank" The objective has been (since 2005) this: Hamas stops the Qassams and Israel redeploys behind the security wall. Which means, if you haven`t noticed, that Israel DOESN`T "get out of West Bank" because: 1) It still remains in around 18-20% 2) It still holds control over the rest of it in the same manner that it did after the Oslo Accords and its dinky Areas A, B, and C. I: "So Natallie ... who is the obstacle to a withdrawal?" Well, that`s easy; add (1) and (2) together and you`ll see that Israel is REDEPLOYING within the West Bank, not WITHDRAWING from the West Bank. Occupation continues, the Pals are still denied their state, and fools like you continue to live in your fantasy world of Goodie-Guy Israelis and Bad-Baddie Palestinians. So the obstacle is Israel, because it still covets 18-20% of that Palestinian land, and that greed overrides her need for security. |
