| It seems that this is quite simply a battle between those that want Israels destruction and those that will not allow it to happen. Unlike the situations over the past 2000 years the Jews have always been outnumbered or massacred. Now that there is a State of Israel that is powerful, Hamas will not have an easy job. The fact is that regardless of the garbage that posters write here, Israel behaves in a very moral fashion. They don`t deliberately target civilians. The criticism should be dealt squarely to Hamas for putting their own civilians in situations that protect the terrorists from Israel. Olmert and his cabinet have shown far too much restraint. They need to allow the IDF to develop and implement a plan to send Hamas a crushing blow. Hamas never does anything out of the "goodness" of their hearts. They were taking a serious beating so they offered up a ceasefire to regroup. Israel should have stepped up the pressure 10 fold. Its not too late. Leave war to the generals!!!! |
