So the fact that we haven`t made cleavers illegal means that it is legal for you to use one to butcher your neighbour?
Come off it! It is perfectly legal today for Israel to have cluster bombs - they haven`t been made illegal. But that doesn`t mean that the way she used them in Lebanon is legal.
The facts show clearly (a) that Israel deliberately used the least reliable ones she had; (b) that they were used during the final hours of the war in order to kill and terrorise civilians, especially after the conflict.
What more do you need for a war crime? |
